Vatican's 'Cardinal Rambo' sticking to his (many) guns
4/12/2012One of the Catholic Church's top cardinals has an unusual hobby for a man of the cloth: a love of firearms. Dubbed "Cardinal Rambo" by Italian newspapers, 68-year-old Domenico Calcagno, the head of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Holy See, has at least 13 weapons in his personal armory, including, as Dirty Harry used to say, "a .357 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world," as well as a Hatsan shotgun. "I used to go to shooting ranges," he told Il Fatto Quotidiano, Agence France-Presse reports. "Unfortunately since I've been at the Vatican I had to stop. It's innocent." What would Jesus think?
