Vegas heist sadly lacking in 'Ocean's 11' panache
5/23/2012Danny Ocean would be ashamed of the lack of boyish charm shown by thieves who bungled a robbery at the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas on Saturday night. In an attempt utterly lacking in high-tech wizardry, convoluted deception and witty repartee, one man assaulted a blackjack dealer with pepper spray, as another swiped $115,000 worth of chips from the table. As a crowd gathered around the scene -- possibly thinking they were part of a new MTV reality show -- a staff member tackled one of the men to the ground. The accomplice fled, leaving the chips behind, along with a wig and a pair of sunglasses.
What would you do with chips worth $115,000?
