Mother forced to attend fourth-grade classes with 'disruptive' son
1/30/2013Veronica Williams of Normandy, Mo., says school administrators are forcing her (or another adult) to attend class with her fourth-grade son every day, allegedly because he's so disruptive. Williams' partner, Tiara Newlon, says Barack Obama Elementary labeled the boy's behavior as "out of control," but the family has no problems with him at home. Williams followed orders and went to school with the child for a while but had to stop for fear of losing her job. When Williams stopped accompanying her son to class, she says the school suspended him, and he hasn't been back in more than a week. [Source]
