Viral video shows an excavator rowing a boat down a river

At first, the ramshackle contraption featured in this video might look like a chunk of a building floating down the river -- but take a closer look, and you'll see that the excavator atop the concrete platform is actually rowing it along the Saigon River, near Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. What's most surprising about it (other than the fact that whatever this is doesn't sink) is that the excavator's arm actually seems like an incredibly effective rowing mechanism: The boat is absolutely flying down the river.
