Visiting MLB player orders pizzas for fans in stands

Kansas City Royals outfielder Jeff Francoeur has a unique way of dealing with hecklers -- buying them pizzas. During a game Wednesday in Oakland, Francoeur had 20 pizzas delivered to folks in the right-field stands. Why the chumminess with opposing fans? Bacon. During an Oakland visit last season, a group celebrating "Bacon Tuesday" bantered with Francoeur, who met the fans afterward and was presented with bacony treats. This year's "Bacon Tuesday" was April 10, and the fans gave Francoeur a T-shirt and more bacon-flavored snacks. The very next day, Francoeur gave back, ordering pizzas for the group (topped with bacon?) and gifting them a signed bat.
