'Social media expert' calls customers 'retarded' on Twitter, Facebook
8/1/2012An employee of multinational telco Vodafone, who described himself as a "social media expert" for the company, has demonstrated his credentials by fuming about customers and fellow staff members on social networks. A Vodafone store employee in Australia, Arthur Kotsopoulos memorably derided customers on Twitter as "mentally retarded people who buy phones and have no clue how to use them" and threatened to demonstrate his "pimp slap backhand" on them in a Facebook post. He also complained about a co-worker’s "filthy emo music," which made him "literally want to neck myself." Vodafone has since suspended Kotsopoulos and clarified his social media title was "not endorsed by the company." [Source]
