Voyeuristic deer causes alarm in small Indiana town

4/9/2012

Police responded to a caller in New Castle, Ind. who was concerned that a Peeping Tom was going house-to-house and peering in the windows of unsuspecting residents; however, the culprit wasn't your typical pervert. According to The Star Press, the suspect was a voyeuristic deer -- apparently curious about its human neighbors -- that was meandering through people's yards and "looking through windows," just north of the New Castle Correctional Facility. A sheriff deputy from Henry County said when he arrived the creature was "extremely friendly" and neighbors were able to come out and pet it (though some argued it appeared aggressive).
