If you want to be good at your job, don't wake up at night to pee
3/19/2013If you wake up in the middle of the night with the urge to answer nature’s call, try to let it go to voicemail. A new study has found that nocturnal trips to urinate are correlated with less productivity at work. According to researchers, Nocturia, the desire to wake up and urinate during the night, is linked to "notable work productivity loss." Subjects who woke up to urinate were 24 percent less productive at work, a higher rate than folks with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. According to a Dutch researcher, one third of adults are afflicted with some form of Nocturia. "If you must pee, your bed you should not flee." Of course, that may bring other complications. [Source]
