Wal-Mart allegedly humiliates cancer survivor, makes her show scars

When a Missouri woman returned a $13 book to Wal-Mart, she had to give up her dignity, too. The unidentified woman didn't have a receipt — the book was a gift — so she had to show ID. She had long blond hair in her driver's license pic, but she now has a cropped brown cut after chemotherapy "ravaged her hair." The Wal-Mart staffer quizzed her about her hairstyle until the woman said she'd had cancer. The employee "rolled her eyes" before calling her manager; the two repeatedly questioned the woman about her story, which she verified by showing her mastectomy scars.
