You're not alone. According to research published in Psychology Today, Wal-Mart is the most common place for Craigslist Missed Connections. People in 15 states — stretching from North Carolina to South Dakota — most frequently mentioned Wal-Mart as the place they'd seen potential soul mates. That's not even the saddest part of the study: Though twentysomethings thought they'd found love at ice cream shops, the 40-plus set posted most of their Missed Connections about people they'd seen at strip clubs or adult bookstores.
