Attention, Wal-Mart shoppers: Please put that 4th box of ammo back

1/31/2013

Not so fast, Wal-Mart shoppers. You're going to have to hold off on that fourth box of bullets, because the retailer is limiting customers to three boxes of ammunition per person, per day. Wal-Mart, the country's largest gun-seller, set the ammo limit after a massive and continued sales surge that followed the Newtown shootings. "Over the years we have been very purposeful about striking the right balance between serving hunters and sportsmen and ensuring that we sell firearms responsibly," Wal-Mart spokesman David Tovar said. To its credit, Wal-Mart abides by a 10-point code written by the Responsible Firearms Retailer Partnership that "goes beyond what the law allows." [Source]
