1/31/2013Washington state, where voters legalized recreational pot use in November, will soon fill a unique job opening: an advisor "on all things weed." The state's liquor control board is tasked with establishing regulations for the nascent pot trade — but it still needs a hand with details such as how to license growers. Enthusiasm alone won't get anyone the gig. Requirements include "at least three years of consulting experience relating to the knowledge of the cannabis industry, including but not limited to product growth, harvesting, packaging, product infusion and product safety."
