Watch a cat and a kitten go from all-out war to new BFFs

Cats are notoriously territorial, so when one video-savvy dude brought an adorable kitten name Kodi home, he knew that his older cat Shorty would need some time to adjust. He was right. Lucky for us, he pointed a camera their way as the two adjusted to each other, and produced this great step-by-step video of the gradual icebreaking. Steps 1 and 2 lie on the brink of all-out Cat War, and by Step 6 Kodi still hasn't progressed beyond the "adorably and painfully clinging to your owner's leg in fear" stage. However, it's a quick study after that: By Step 9 they're playing, and by the final step they're using each other as pillows, and it's awwwwwsome. We especially like Step 9, which is basically, "Sit on the smaller cat so it can't get up," and is fantastic.
