Watch a genius kitty ask for food in sign language

Here's something great: A cat telling its owner in sign language that it would like to eat. This video is from February, but it's still picking up fans just because of its delightful protagonist. Naturally, a "talking" cat got the attention of the jokey doomsday crowd, with one YouTube commenter writing simply, "IT HAS BEGUN." Animals using sign language isn't new, of course, but this cat is Russian, so we'll keep our eyes peeled for an arduously transcribed thousand-page tragic novel in the near future. "The Whiskers Karamazov," anyone? Maybe not, but we're happy to get even one word out of this cute, and maybe mute, kitty.
