When the owners of these dozen adorable puppies loaded them into a bucket to head over to weekly visits with the veterinarian, they had the brilliant idea to photograph the bucket each time. Thanks to their photos, we can watch this rescue litter grow from a tight knot of snuggling, sleepy little puppy-seeds into a big bouquet of bright-eyed, floppy-eared cuddle muffins, ready to jump out and see the world! And even beyond, when they’ve outgrown their trusty bucket and are ready to take on the world. Is this nature’s perfect cure for not smiling?
