Enjoy Kung Fu, revenge and sandcastles – all filmed on a cell phone
7/29/2012Like all good Kung Fu films, Freddie Wong’s sandcastle sensei starts off with a tragedy, spirals into revenge and ends with our protagonist doling out serious amounts of high-flying whoop-ass. Unlike most classic Kung Fu films, it was filmed on a cell phone and prominently features amateur beach architecture. In addition to just being a generally fun video, “Sandcastle Sensei” really shows how far cell phone technology has come. At some point, we went from car phones bigger than our heads to handheld devices with production values rivaling some of the more low-budget movies. And if not of that is appealing to you, there’s still a guy getting bicycle-kicked in the chest, and who doesn’t want to see that?
