It’s hard to resist watching or reading any heroic tales of people rescuing animals or even occasionally of animals saving other animals. These six real-life rescues of creatures great and small all display extraordinary acts of kindness -- we just wish they’d stop it already with the sappy soundtracks a la Sarah McLachlan.
