A group of researchers from Northumbria University learned that heterosexual men eyeball each other's dance-floor skills in order to identify "love rivals." In the study, real-life dance moves were converted into 3D avatars before being sized up by both men and women who evaluated their "perceived dance and physical qualities." Both sexes noticed "strong arm and torso movements," observations that seem to help men subconsciously gauge the upper body strength of other dudes.
