Asia predicted to bump America way, way down the rich list
8/17/2012Move over Americans; Asians are set to occupy the top slots on the rich list by 2050. That’s according to the Knight Frank and Citi Private Wealth's 2012 Wealth Report that shows Singaporeans hanging on to their spot at top of the charts with nearly $138,000 per capita, closely followed by Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea. But don’t fret; the U.S. is still up there, predicted to be raking in an estimated $100,802 per citizen. Sure that number looks good, but keep in mind it’s an average, and nobody’s predicting an end to that nagging wealth gap anytime soon. [Source]
