Website shows how to make the original, horrid Four Loko

The original Four Loko may be off the market, but Gizmodo has come up with a DIY version that even they say to make "with extreme caution." In its original form, Four Loko was condemned by critics, who assailed its youth-oriented marketing and risky mix of caffeine and alcohol. It even made Gizmodo's Abominations in Booze list. But the creator of this DIY version says this recipe, which includes Berocca, malt liquor, vodka and Kool-Aid, produces "a bright red punch that actually tastes quite a bit like the original, which is to say, gross." We'd err on the side of caution and not actually drink this concoction, but it's still a fascinating dissection of a really disgusting cocktail.
