Big kid's 'wedding bouquet' shot goes into the 3-pointer Hall of Fame
1/12/2013The heroes from our favorite kids sports movies like "The Sandlot" and "The Bad News Bears" will have to make room for one from real life. When this play started, you just knew the ball would wind up in the hands of the big kid, and Matt DeMember delivered with the shot we all practiced again and again in our driveways. The only thing missing from this 3-point buzzer beater in a Maryland church league was DeMember counting down to himself, "3 ... 2 ... 1 ..." Even the opposing player under the basket had to raise his arms in celebration. Can't beat that reaction.
