Well-meaning but stupid 'free spirit' locks down Disneyland

Unless the "goodwill message" said, "Hope you enjoy sitting in your cars all morning," it was a total failure. An unnamed "free spirit" managed to shut down Disneyland for several hours on Saturday morning after the rolled up "spiritual message" he or she put in a tree on the property raised suspicions. Park employees called the Anaheim cops, who declined to release the text of the letter. "Officials responded to an unknown object which was determined to be harmless," a Disneyland spokeswoman said. "We thank our guests for their patience." The park did stay open for an extra hour to make up for the morning lockdown.
