'Wheel of Fortune' stiffs contestant for leavin' out a letter
12/22/2012"Wheel of Fortune" contestant Renee had done a good job of narrowing in on a puzzle, looking to solve "living things" with "SE*EN S**NS A-S**MM*NG." Crucially, Renee had landed that "G" on the board, but when she guessed at the solution, she left it off, so what she actually said was, "Seven swans a-swimmin'." Even the audience thought Renee had won -- and a confused silence greeted host Pat Sajak when he told Renee, "Yeah, that's ... we can't accept that." The next player solved the puzzle, but even she looked baffled as Sajak asked, "Do you know what happened there?"
