White girl's 'No Colored People' joke offends everyone

So if you're a multitasker looking for a quick way to offend both racial and cultural minorities, what's better than putting the words 'Colored People' on a poster on your college campus? Katherine Yagle, a Wesleyan University student, has been slammed for a decision she made during the school's Holi festival, a Hindu observance where participants cover themselves in brightly-colored powders. Yagle was told to advise students not to leave Technicolor footprints in the student center, so she made a sign that said "No Colored People in [the Center]" (GET IT? HILAAAARIOUS). Unsurprisingly, this did not go over well, attracting criticism on-campus and from national Hindu leaders. Yagle has apologized, saying she's "deeply, deeply regretful" for the signs.
