Whitney's haunting last recordings released online
5/24/2012A haunting sound is pouring out of computer speakers worldwide today as Whitney Houston's rendition of "His Eye is On The Sparrow" hits the web. Both this and Houston's duet with John Legend "Celebrate" were made for the movie "Sparkle," the duet having the sad distinction of being the last recording Houston ever made. The familiar warmth and expression of Houston's voice shows she was regaining her recently more limited range, and is making fans speculate about the comeback that could have been. Houston was known as The Voice throughout the industry and fans today are no doubt struck with both sadness and gratitude for this new music.
