To live in Los Angeles is to invite a certain amount of surrealist weirdness into one's life. But even in the land of costumed characters roaming the streets and aspiring hopefuls vying for attention, one can't help but pause at the sight of a stern-looking Will Ferrell escorting a guilty-looking Shaquille O'Neal from the Staples Center during a Lakers game. With all of Ferrell's bizarre side projects, it's difficult to know if this was all staged for a film or just a bout of improvised fun. Either way, we all enjoyed the act.
