Will Smith raps 'Fresh Prince' theme song like it's 1990
5/19/2012Will Smith may be slap-happy these days, but he hasn't forgotten his roots in a town called Bel Air. Appearing on British television's "The Graham Norton Show" to promote "Men in Black 3," Smith performed the iconic theme song to "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" with help from the audience and the keyboarding skills of British "X Factor" head judge Gary Barlow. Smith also told a story about how Alfonso Ribeiro, who played superdork Carlton Banks, persuaded him to give his character the name "Will Smith," so fans would never, ever mix-up the character's name with his own. Speaking of Carlton... er, Ribeiro, break out your dancing shoes: That's Sir Tom Jones, singer of 'Carlton Dance' soundtrack "It's Not Unusual," all the way to Smith's left.
