Best person ever: bus driver who gave own shoes to a barefoot stranger
9/20/2012Passengers on a Winnipeg Transit bus couldn't believe when the driver made an unplanned stop, pulling over to help a man walking barefoot on a chilly morning. The unidentified driver shouted, "Hey, buddy!" before getting off the bus to speak with the man, whom other passengers described as "[looking] like he was in need." Unbelievably, the driver removed his own shoes and gave them to the struggling stranger before quietly boarding the bus and continuing on his route. "You always hear 'I'll give you the shirt off my back,'" one passenger said. "It's unbelievable." The Winnipeg Transit director commended the driver for his "generosity and kindness." [Source]
