Principal bursts prom plans after massive water balloon brawl

Prom dreams at one Cincinnati high school have been deflated — popped by the principal as punishment for a massive lunchtime water balloon fight. The kids can't claim they weren't warned. After Withrow High School staffers got wind of the planned prank, principal Sharon Johnson, concerned about safety, told students she'd cancel prom if they went ahead with the battle. Her pleas were ignored by about 150-175 kids, and balloons flew. Water was everywhere, and students were slipping and sliding. “I didn’t think they were going to do it.
