Woman says Waffle House CEO demanded sex in exchange for job
11/10/2012A former Waffle House employee said that for nearly a decade the chain’s CEO engaged in seriously awful behavior. The woman filed a complaint alleging that Joseph Rogers Jr. demanded she perform sexual acts to keep her job, harassment she said began in 2003 and lasted until June of this year. The woman said Rogers tried to force her to have sex despite her repeated protests, made lewd comments and tried to remove her clothes. She told police she remained at the job because she was a single mom and couldn’t find a job with comparable pay, and quit this year after her son received a college scholarship. Rogers' lawyer, Robert Ingram, did not comment but has reportedly said Rogers' account of events differs significantly from his accuser's. [Source]
