Woman returns glasses after newscast makes spectacle of theft
2/16/2013A woman who was caught on camera stealing $2,000 eyeglasses in Pittsburgh has quietly returned them to the store after surveillance footage of the theft was played on local news. Maybe she was afraid her neighbors would throw shade at her, or she didn’t want impair the vision they held of her, or she was embarrassed at the spectacle she had made of herself, or because hindsight is 20/20, or because she was like "I've made a transition, and I'm not talking lenses" or … you get the idea. The woman was not named and has not yet been charged by authorities. [Source]
