Woman finds birth mother via Facebook post
1/31/2013It took just three days for Jenessa Simons to find her apparent birth mother after posting a plea on Facebook. The 21-year-old asked for help finding her birth parents and shared details of her birth at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo when her birth parents were 16. Her photo post was shared more than 148,000 times and was seen by a woman who thought she knew Simons' parents from high school. She passed the message along and now Simons' birth mother has been in touch. Simons said her birth mother proved her identity with baby photos. [Source]
