Woman has a rare and odd encounter with a wallaby
5/11/2012A dog walker in England had an uncommon wildlife encounter near the town of Pluckley when she stumbled upon a wayward wallaby along a farm track. Village resident Alex Pooley said she was out strolling with her dog, Shackleton, when she caught sight of what she thought was a "giant hare." In the video, the little hopper initially doesn't seem to mind the chance meeting with humans as it bounces along, pausing when it spots the strangers to inspect. But, as the video shows, Shackleton doesn't need a friend. Wallabies are native to Australia but small feral populations are found in parts of the U.K.
