Woman miraculously survives being impaled by metal bar

​A Chinese woman who was impaled in the forehead by a three-foot-long metal bar miraculously survived and is recovering in a hospital in the city of Guangzhou. A witness says the woman was using the bar to pull down tree branches to use as firewood when a branch sprang back and plunged the bar into her forehead. She is recovering, but doctors say they don't know how her brain might have been affected by the accident.
