Woman robbed while asking directions to report a robbery
8/22/2012Harriet Sweger will probably shop only on the buddy system from now. The 72-year-old Pennsylvania woman's day started out bad enough when another woman snatched her checkbook at a Big Lots store in McKees Rocks. Later in the day, she headed to the police station in Stowe Township to report the crime, but she had to stop and ask directions — and had her purse stolen through the open passenger window. The checkbook was returned to the store, and police have a suspect in the purse-snatching, but Sweger is understandably shaken. "Is there a tag on me or what?" she wondered. [Source]
