Woman says Petco cut off dog's ear, then glued it back on

Dog owner Gladys Kapuwai probably never considered the possibility that her Pomeranian-Maltese puppy might return from a Petco in Kaneohe, near Honolulu, without part of his ear, yet that's exactly what happened, she alleges. The story gets worse from there: "When I took her to the vet, the doctor had told me it looked like they tried to glue [the ear] back," Kapuwai told Hawaii News Now. Unbelievably, Kapuwai isn't the only one to complain: Ashley Greene alleges that, after a grooming session, "the tip of [her] dog's tail was cut off." Kapuwai notes that she rejected the offer of a free grooming from the store, saying, "I guess they wanted to take off other body parts." Petco did not immediately respond to Hawaii News Now.
