Nerdtopia: 23 pics of China's unlicensed World of Warcraft park
1/15/2013Want to walk around the World of Warcraft in real life? Go to China. Right now. They’ve just built a totally unlicensed World of Warcraft theme park in Changzhou, covering their blatant copyright violation of the Blizzard Entertainment game by naming it Terrain of Magic. With a cost of $30 million and a sprawling150 acres of space, you can enjoy an intense log ride (aka the '"Splash of Monster Blood"), experience a horizontal flying roller coaster, and buy a fake battle sword from merchandise carts (no outside weapons, please). It’s so authentic, you’ll have to keep reminding yourself: "This is real. Don’t kill anybody." [Source]
