World's most diabolical alarm clock is impossible to ignore
4/13/2012Getting out of bed in the morning may be a little easier now thanks to the most diabolically evil alarm clock ever invented. The Ramos Nixie is the invention of 25-year-old Paul Sammut and the only way to shut off its incessant chiming is to get out of bed and enter a code on a touchpad installed in your bathroom. Not only does the physical act of getting out of bed jumpstart you, the code changes every day, forcing your brain to wake up along with your body. A battery also means you can't unplug the clock to shut it off. Sammut admits a hammer will do the trick, but at $350, that could be a costly one-time solution.
