Wyclef Jean reenacts Trayvon killing in music video
4/21/2012Wyclef Jean has tweeted a new video for his Trayvon Martin-inspired song, "Justice (If You're 17)." It features a strikingly young man talking on the phone with a smiling, laughing girl as he walks along the street in a hoodie. The innocent laughter of the two teens are contrasted by the black-and-white filming style and Wyclef's reflections on Trayvon's lost youth and potential. "He could have been the next President," Wyclef cries mournfully, and warns, "If you're 17 with a hoodie on, watch out for the neighborhood watcher." The video ends abruptly, with the sound of a gunshot.
