Insane painting tutorial shows you how to scream a painting
12/9/2012Folks, this is not Bob Ross. There are no happy trees or hushed tones or relaxed guitar music in the background of this painting tutorial. When Kim Beom sets up the camera to show viewers how to paint his "Yellow Scream" there is actually a lot of screaming. He says, at 5:33, to "put some anguished screaming" into your strokes of lemon yellow. Beom then directs a blood-curdling scream at the canvas with every stroke of his brush. There are long screams, short screams, sorrowful screams and screams of "extreme mental distress." This guy is a genius, though we'd consider him more a comic genius than an artistic one. [Source]
