Yoko Ono not to blame for Beatles' break-up, says Sir Paul (finally)
10/29/2012If you're really old and have spent the decades since Nixon grumbling about Yoko Ono breaking up the Beatles, it's time to drop it and mumble incoherently about the "full sound" of vinyl LPs or something instead. In a new interview, Sir Paul McCartney says "I don't think you can blame her for anything." According to Sir Paul, when the avant garde Ono arrived on the scene, John Lennon was drifting anyway and "she certainly didn't break the group up." The revelation must come as a relief for the widely reviled Ono — even it has come a little (like, 40 years) late. [Source]
