You can't beat this meat, say fans of new cut of steak

Just in case you were looking for a reason to live, a new cut of steak has been identified and will soon be decorating dinner plates across the country. The Vegas Strip Steak was revealed at an invitation-only tasting during the Protein Innovation Summit (PIS? Really?) in Chicago and was reportedly met with applause. The taste of the newest steak -- whose exact cut hasn't been revealed -- is comparable to a New York strip, according to "Meat Geek" researcher Tony Mata. "The Vegas Strip Steak is the latest and perhaps last steak to be found from the beef carcass," one meat-processing specialist said -- though we sincerely hope that's not the way it's described on menus.
