Twitter account vilifies proud, ignorant, semi-literate Americans
11/27/2012When you're real busy spewing racist vitriol on the Internet, sometimes you don't have the time to run spellcheck. Proud Americans eager to remind newcomers and visitors they're in the U.S. of A are being targeted by grammar activists working under the Twitter handle "Your in America." The account's charge is to spot, correct and condemn tweets where the phrase "Your in America" is used where "You're in America" should be. With just 60 retweets of the offending phrase over three days, @YourInAmerica has already attracted nearly 10,000 smug followers who hate poor grammar. [Source]
