'You're not invited' email alerts are a sad new wedding trend
2/8/2013There are many ways to piss off your friends before your wedding. You could ask them to be a bridesmaid or groomsman and suck up the cost of an ugly dress or rental tux, or you could expect them to listen to your prattle about seating and flower arrangements. And now there's a new way: Send them a don't-save-the-date card informing them they're not invited. Such alerts are a "growing trend," Today.com reports, adding that some couples are going even further and letting friends know they're on the wait list, to be invited only if an A-lister sends regrets. Those brides might want to take extra precautions when passing the B-list section during the rice-throwing portion of the nuptials. [Source]
