College kid's op-ed ensures he's going to have a lot of lonely nights

Zach Nold is sick and tired of all you feminists who are out to get him — and other men. That’s the expert opinion of the University of Nebraska senior, who wrote in a boneheaded op-ed for the student paper that feminism is the ruin of modern hetero relationships. Why? Because the ladies are getting all uppity. “Feminism,” Nold writes, “has achieved what it was set out to do” and “now that women are considered equal,” feminists are setting their sights on their real goal — “the downfall of men.” It really is an inane argument advanced by a kid who’s probably going to regret writing it (we hope), but it’s virulent and nasty in its misogyny, and his inflated sense of entitlement is grating.
