'To Zlatan' is the new way to dominate, and you can look it up

12/28/2012

His ridiculous goal against England last month made Zlatan Ibrahimovic even more of a worldwide phenomenon than he already is among soccer fans, but it's so much more intense in his native country. The Swedish Language Council has gone so far as to add the verb "zlatanera" (or "to zlatan") to the official dictionary, following its increased conversational usage by Swedes to reflect domination or an outlandish success. Even if the new verb originated in France, where Ibrahimovic plays for the Paris club Saint-Germain, and was first used on a satirical puppet show, that's pretty cool. And in America, we'll probably get stuck with "Tebowing." [Source]
