Zoo seeks boy wonder who saved penguin egg
4/17/2012If Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo posted a Craigslist "Missed Connection," it would read something like this: "You were a commercial-cute 7 year-old-blonde boy. I was a just-laid Humboldt penguin egg, one that had rolled away from its already overwhelmed mother. You spotted me near the edge of a rock cliff inside the penguin enclosure and pointed it out to a zoo staffer. Thanks to you, I'm a healthy future Happy Foot-er who didn't get eaten by a rogue seagull. Please tell us your name so you can get a proper thank you."
"We are so grateful to this little boy for helping us save this precious bird," penguin keeper Celine Pardo says. "We'd like to find him."
What's a good name for the penguin?
